Introducing NOT NORMAL, an alternative punk graphic T-shirt celebrating individuality, nonconformity and the freedom to be exactly who you are.
 
Because normal is overrated.
 
And fitting in was never part of the plan.
 
At the centre of the artwork stands a weathered chain-link fence, illustrated in distressed antique cream against a deep black background.
 
Its tightly woven metal mesh, heavy supporting posts and worn industrial appearance create a gritty, urban atmosphere.
 
The fence looks like something you’d find surrounding an abandoned warehouse, forgotten industrial estate or underground venue that’s seen considerably better days.
 
Mounted prominently against the metal mesh is a battered rectangular warning sign.
 
Two simple words dominate its surface:
 
NOT NORMAL
 
No explanation.
 
No apology.
 
No attempt to soften the message.
 
Just a statement.
 
The bold black lettering contrasts against the distressed cream sign, giving the design the appearance of an old industrial warning notice.
 
Scratches, weathering and rough printed textures run throughout the illustration, reinforcing its underground punk aesthetic.
 
Behind the fence, dark shadows and industrial details create a sense of depth without distracting from the central message.
 
Across the bottom, the words:
 
PUBLIC HAZARD
 
appear in bold distressed lettering.
 
The branding sits beneath the fence like a signature left behind by someone who wasn’t particularly concerned about getting permission.
 
The entire composition is enclosed within a distressed antique cream rectangular border, giving the artwork the appearance of a weather-beaten underground poster.
 
With its restricted black and cream colour palette, the design draws inspiration from punk flyers, industrial photography, alternative streetwear and urban counterculture.
 
There’s no need for bright colours or complicated symbolism.
 
The message does the talking.
