Inspired by the unsettling atmosphere of vintage psychological horror and forgotten VHS nightmares, The Basement is a chilling tribute to the places we’re warned never to enter.
 
A narrow staircase descends into darkness, illuminated by the eerie purple glow of a single hanging lightbulb. At the bottom sits an empty wooden chair, waiting in a room that feels far from abandoned.
 
From the shadows, a skeletal hand reaches across the stairs, suggesting that whatever lives below isn’t quite ready to let anyone leave.
 
The artwork combines haunting purple tones, distressed textures and heavy black shadows to create the appearance of a forgotten underground horror film.
 
Above the scene, jagged, dripping cream lettering announces THE BASEMENT, while a scratched vintage VHS border and decorative 18-style classification badge complete the retro movie-poster aesthetic.
